Another sector that is currently changing at lightning speed is that of e-bikes. For instance, in 2025, the Netherlands had an estimated figure of over 5 million electric bicycles, and that number is only continuing to increase. Furthermore, no less than over 60% of all new two-wheelers are now electric, and e-bikes account for 80% of the revenue in the sector.

So there is still plenty of work for e-bike manufacturers. And all those parts naturally have to be made and coated. The casing, for example, but also protective covers and sprockets. NFB has also gained extensive experience in this area. Both when it comes to pre-treatment, and when it comes to the actual cataphoresis paints (KTL/e-coating) and/or powder coating.
