If you use products each day, year after year, you cannot afford to take any risks. Certainly not for critical parts in, for example, the automotive industry, defence, medical sector or infrastructure. We exclude risks as much as possible through high-quality certifications, our test facilities and periodic audits. In this way, we guarantee the highest possible quality, every time again.
At NFB, we take our profession and ourselves seriously, which is something that needs constant attention. That is why we are IATF16949-certified and ISO14001 certified , and why we have ourselves audited on numerous points periodically. An external company carries out the audits. The focus areas change every year. In this way, all disciplines are discussed on a rotating basis.
Test facilities
Quality must be tested. It is often established in standards which specific requirements a product must meet, including the associated surface treatments. We are familiar with many of the (automotive) standards of OEMs and customer-specific requirements. In addition, the processes we carry out are monitored with great care by computers and process operators every day.
We can perform the most common tests in our own laboratory. In some cases, a specifically ISO 17025 accredited laboratory is required. Unfortunately, we are not, but this allows us to keep costs attractive. Furthermore, we test with the same equipment and methodology as certified laboratories.

IATF 16949 certification
IATF stands for International Automotive Task Force. The standard aims to maintain a high level of quality in the supply chain and applies to all companies that produce manufacturing or service parts for the OEM market. This certificate is also recognised worldwide.
ISO 14001
ISO 14001 is the internationally accepted standard with requirements for an environmental management system. It was developed by the International Organization for Standardization. The environmental management system is used to develop and ensure the implementation of an environmental policy suitable for the organisation.
